Founder of The Better Biz Co, Ali Hellewell, has had over 25 years of experience working in a variety of businesses across multiple industries.  She wanted to make a bigger impact and help more struggling businesses, and so, The Better Biz Co. was born.

“What I experienced over the years, as an employee, is that the companies I worked for would be struggling to implement necessary change, often because they didn’t know how, or didn’t have the time.  Many times, external consultants were brought in to analyse problems and create solutions, and that was great, some terrific ideas came out of those strategy sessions.

However, once the consultant had guided us through the thinking phase, they left the building, and left us to implement the solutions, often without the necessary resources to do it.  Staff were too busy taking care of the day-to-day stuff, you know, business as usual, and so without intending to, the process of making the necessary changes fell by the wayside or only got half done. Leaving everyone feeling more frustrated and disappointed,” says Ali, “my passion is solving puzzles, and my experience is in business, so when I put the two together, I believe I can make a difference for business owners, giving them back time, money and peace of mind.”
